HI-TECH Metrology is distributing the latest generation of multi-sensor vision measurement devices in Australia.
The Cordax Discovery III is the latest model of the CMM range from Sheffield Measurement and is available in three measurement ranges.
The company says the unit features hardened linear guides and recirculating ball bearings to improve accuracy and reduce friction. It also has integrated LED illumination to make sure each measurement is optimised.
According to the manufacturer, the device is suitable for applications which require non-contact measurement and can carry out inspection tasks in an entire field of view, at multiple probe angles and in difficult areas such as holes and slots.
