PARTICLE and Surface Sciences is supplying aerosol filter testing solutions for HEPA filters, manufactured by DOP Solutions.
Particle and Surface Sciences says this new aerosol filter testing solution means it now offers a complete solution for filter and clean-room testing.
HEPA filters are currently installed in many industrial environments and applications. The standard testing method at the moment, involves using an aerosol generator to produce an oil aerosol.
According to Particle and Surface Sciences, the oil aerosol is introduced into an airstream, which passes through the HEPA filter. An aerosol photometer is then used to measure the amount of aerosol in the air upstream and downstream of the filter.
This method verifies the performance of the HEPA filter, as well as identifying leaks in the frame, seals or media.
Particle and Surface Sciences says the aerosol filter testing solution range includes ancillary equipment to inject, mix and sample the aerosol, such as positive injection pumps, injection ports, sparge pipes, sample ports and scanning probes.
