SIEMENS has released a kit designed to check the performance and accuracy of energy meters in HVAC applications.
The kit includes a Sitrans FUE1010 clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeter, transducers, 100Ohm platinum resistance temperature detectors (RTD) and an array of cables.
The company says the unit is suitable for use in the water and energy sectors, such as in power plants. It can also carry out chiller efficiency analysis and surveys on non-metered installations.
The included two-channel flowmeter can carry out measurements on one or two pipes. The battery pack charges in one hour and has a four hour operational capacity.
