PACIFIC Sensor Technologies is distributing a range of rotary paddle level switches from Bin Master.
The BMRX range is said to provide security from system power failure, easy access to components and reliable advanced circuitry.
The company says the unit has a slow speed synchronous motor which rotates a paddle. The paddle will rotate continuously when the material is not present.
When the paddle comes into contact with the material, the resistance causes the motor to ‘de-energise.’ Subsequently, the relay will change status and shut-off any connected processes.
When the material drops below the paddle the motor ‘re-energises’ and the paddle starts rotating.
According to the distributor, the switches can be used for dry bulk material storage control, including feed, grain, cement, plastics, wood products and minerals.
