Torque measurement device for industrial research and development

  • Published: 07/04/2010

Measuring torque, speed and mechanical power is a crucial stage of certain production processes, and Kistler’s new Evaluation Instrument CoMo Torque Type 4700A sensor was designed specifically for industrial research and development applications.

According to local distributor SI Instruments, the CoMo connects directly to torque sensors with strain gauge technology and standardised voltage output or frequency output, and offers a display with indication of exact measured data for torque, speed, angle of rotation, force and mechanical power.

The CoMo can be used with electric motors, gear-boxes, fans, combustion engines, compressors, lubrication pumps and cooler pumps, crankshaft drives and camshafts.
