IntelLiDrives, Inc's new Linear ServoSLide pre-engineered linear servo motor slide is designed to eliminate backlash, friction and wear problems associated with mechanical transmissions.
According to IntelLiDrives, the new Linear ServoSLide eliminates backlash on transmissions including ball/lead screws, rack and pinion and gearboxes.
The linear ServoSLide features brushless, non-contact linear motor design with forces from 100 N to 2000 N, along with low cogging for fast and accurate positioning, the company claims.
A double rail bearing system is integrated into the slide to support moving carriage and to provide dynamic stiffness and precise straightness of travel, according to the company.
